Woodhill Production Nursery is the production arm of Sydney Wildflower Nursery, Heathcote. Originally created by John and Penny Rose on their family property near Berry, NSW over 30 years ago. The nursery began as a wholesale native nursery producing a wide variety of plants for retail nurseries. As the market changed and John and Penny’s son David took over the business, the nursery has transitioned into a specialist nursery growing Gymea Lily (Doryanthes excelsa) and Spear Lily (Doryanthes palmeri) for the commercial and civil market. Woodhill Production nursery produce all our Doryanthes stock from seed grown on site and are able to provide large quantities of high quality plants delivered to the Sydney region weekly, with regular runs to Melbourne also. 

 

We also grow a variety of ornamental grasses ideal for low maintenance gardens in public spaces and road ways. Our growing list changes with availability and season but information on some of the more popular varieties available can be found on our What We Grow page.
